"It is my pleasure to write on behalf of Cody Geyer and to express what an outstanding player he is. Cody is a junior at North Buncombe High School. He has been a starter on the Varsity team since his freshman year. As a freshman Cody hit over 300 and had 6 homeruns. As a sophmore Cody hit 521 had 14 homeruns to lead the state 11 doubles and 43 RBIs. He lead our team in all of these categories. This past summer Cody earned a spot on the region 8 North Carolina State Games. He won the pre-tournament Home Run Derby, held at UNC Greensboro and helped his team win the Silver Medal at the Games.
After the State games Cody went to Midland ,Ohio to play for the Midland Braves,an Elite summer league team with players from all over the United States.
Cody Geyer is a natural hitter with tremendous power. He will represent the state of North Carolia well in the power showcase Home Run Derby."
