"Nathan Antone (Nate) is currently rated as one of the most talented amateur baseball players in Western Pennsylvania. At a lean 6'5", Nate is a very athletic and versatile player that can effectively play any position on the baseball field. As a pitcher, Nate maxed out at several showcase appearances with fastballs in the 89-92 mph range. As an infielder Nate is agile, has good feet, soft hands and a strong accurate arm. Most impressive of all is his power and consistency as a hitter. With an average of .496 on 141 at bats, 13 home runs, 23 doubles, and an on base and slugging percentage of .556 and .979 respectively, as a Junior Nate was the most productive hitter in the Summer Elite Baseball League which features the best high School baseball players in Western Pennsylvania. He struck out only 15 times in 170 plate appearances. Nate consistently hits the ball with authority to all fields, and manages pitches located throughout the strike zone extremely well. In June, Nate will be a young high school graduate, 17 years of age. Nate aspires to play major league baseball." - Tim Basilone, Springdale Baseball Team
